Caregiver of the Month - September
Ms. Gwendolyn Ashley has been registered with Friends for Friends since June 9, 2004. Gwen is an exceptionally dedicated caregiver. She gives 1000% of herself to her clients.
Gwen was referred to us by a former client. Unfortunately, the Power of Attorney (POA) of that client was often delinquent with payments to Gwen. She was owed fees in excess of $5,000.
Although Gwen was not being paid, Gwen said, “I understand that I have to adhere to rules and regulations of the agency, but I have to go to my client…she needs me. God willing, the POA will eventually pay.”
Gwen’s kind, caring and compassionate heart has resulted in calls from people from all walks of life, requesting her services.
And there is a happy ending to this story. Gwen was eventually paid.
